Journey Biker Church will follow Jesus’ example to live the gospel, in the words we speak and by our lives actions - We will show God’s love. Sacrificing to serve those who have been beaten up and think their lives don’t count. JBC is here to say, “You matter to God - He knows you by name; and who sent us to find you.”
We believe there is only one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory; that this triune God created everything, upholds everything, and governs everything.
Genesis 1:1, John 1:1-5 and Matthew 28:19
We believe in GOD the Father, an infinite, personal Spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love, that He hears and answers prayer, and that He saves from sin and death, all who come to Him, through Jesus Christ.
We believe in Jesus Christ, that He is God the Son, God's only begotten Son, conceived by the Holy Spirit; that Jesus died on the cross, to fulfill prophecy, to atone for the sin of the world. He is the only Lamb of God through whom we obtain forgiveness of our sin; apart from Him there is no other way to the Father.
John 1:1-5, John 1:14, John 3:16-17, John 14:6
We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles and teachings, His atoning death on the cross and resurrection from the dead on the third day, ascension into heaven, perpetual intercession for His people, and His visible return to earth.
Matthew, Mark, Luke and John
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who came forth from the Father and the Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify and empower for ministry all who believe in Christ. The Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Jesus Christ and that He is an abiding Helper, Teacher and Guide.
John 14:16-17, John 16:7-13, Acts 1:8, Acts 2:1-5, 2 Corinthians 5:5
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit and the exercise of all the Biblical gifts of the Spirit.
I Corinthians 12 and Ephesians 4:7-16
We believe that all are sinners by nature and choice, therefore under condemnation; that God regenerates, by the Holy Spirit, those who repent of their sins and confess Jesus Christ as Lord; that Jesus Christ baptizes the seeking believer with the Holy Spirit and empowers for service, often subsequent to regeneration.
Roman 3:23 and I John 1:9
We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ committed two ORDINANCES to the Church: Baptism and the Communion.
Matthew 28:18-20, Mark 1:9-11, Mark 14:22-25, Luke 14-22
We believe in the personal, visible (second) Return of Christ to earth and the establishment of His Kingdom; in resurrection of the body, the final judgment and eternal blessing of the righteous and endless suffering of the wicked.
Matthew 24:29-31, Mark 13:24-27 and Revelation 19:11-16
We believe that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God, fully inspired without error in the original manuscripts, and the infallible rule of faith and practice.
